Stamford Town Council has a vibrant Youth Council made up of students from a range of local schools and colleges.

The Youth Council was set up by Stamford Town Council to help give the younger generation in Stamford a voice. Youth councillors meet regularly with guest speakers and councillors to discuss a range of different issues that are important to them. Recent meetings have covered a range of topics, including litter picking, Fairtrade and shopping ethically, speeding vehicles and air quality in the town.

We meet twice a term at 4pm on a Thursday at Stamford Town Hall.

New members are always welcome – whether you attend primary school, secondary school, or college, or you work at a local education provider, find out more about getting involved by calling 01780 753808 or emailing communications@stamfordtowncouncil.gov.uk
