This free exhibition at Stamford Town Hall provides an exclusive reveal of reproductions from the Phillips Collection, a treasure trove of poster artwork, playbills, and historic public notices from the Georgian era to the Victorian period, which give an invaluable insight into what life was like in the town during this time.
Transport yourself back to a time of lion tamers, giant pigs, circus menageries, travelling theatre troupes and much more, at Stamford Town Hall this Autumn.
- The exhibition will open 19th September and run until November 1 (Monday-Saturday), with a programme of free events for all ages.
